Dance Auditions

2022-2023 School Year

Beginning Dance: No Audition Required. Any N.U. student grades 9-12 may sign up to enroll. Beginning classes are offered 3rd, 4th, or 5th periods. Performance opportunities are available but are not required. 

Intermediate Dance: Audition required. Class meets 6th period. Required weekly rehearsal after-school on Wednesdays from 3:30-5:30pm to prepare for performances. 

Advanced/Ensemble: Audition required. Class meets 7th period & 8th Periods. Required weekly rehearsals on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 3:30-5:00pm to prepare for performances. Some weekend rehearsals will also be required for work with out-of-town guest choreographers and for the Student Choreography Showcase production. A specific schedule of weekend rehearsals will be provided for all students at the beginning of the school year.

Thank you to everyone who attended our dance auditions! Please know that the judges thought carefully about placements for next year’s classes. We hope you will accept your placement into our program for the 2022-2023 school year, and we look forward to working with you!
